WHAT

Another year, from the Cromoly Club we are proud to present, within the official Marisquiño program, the BMX International Open, a competition that has been part of the festival since 2006, when it was known as Queimada Contest. Over the years, it has established itself as a reference in the world of BMX, both in the Park and Street disciplines, and today it is one of the most anticipated and celebrated events in Vigo.

WHERE

The BMX repeats its location at the parking lot of the old street market at Samil beach, a privileged space that shares its location with the headquarters of the World Cup Skateboarding, located in Parking 3, in use since 2022. This location offers greater convenience for the public and riders, while also showcasing to the world the spectacular natural surroundings of Samil beach and the Cíes Islands.

HOW

The chosen format remains the classic of the event: by riders for riders. A competition where the atmosphere and fun combine with the highest level of sportsmanship. It is an Open format, with rounds of qualifiers, semifinals, and finals, in which riders of all levels can participate.

Awards

When

The competition will take place from August 7 to 10, 2025.

• Thursday: Children's workshops in the morning at the local Skatepark in Navia and first free training sessions by groups at Samil.
• Friday: Official Park and Street training sessions in the morning; in the afternoon, Junior and Pro Street Men qualifiers.
• Saturday: In the morning, Junior final and Park Men qualification; in the afternoon, Women's and Adapted qualification followed by semifinals of Street Men and Park Men.
• Sunday: In the morning, finals for Park Women, Adapted, and Park Men; in the afternoon, final for Street Men and closure with the Best Trick in Street and Park.

The schedule may be subject to changes due to weather conditions or other force majeure factors. The final schedule will be announced soon.
