WHAT IS THE FESTIVAL VENUE THIS YEAR?

The event will take place in two different spaces. On one side, Samil Beach where the Skate, Bmx competitions, as well as Break Dance and Flatland, the Village market, and the Gastronomic area will be held. 

In the city center of Vigo, the Urban Descent will take place on Saturday the 10th, the 3x3 Basketball in the Nautical Area, and the Battle of Rappers in the Porta do Sol. 

IS IT FREE TO ACCESS?

O Marisquiño is a free festival for everyone. Free entry.

DOES THE FESTIVAL HAVE A LOST AND FOUND SERVICE?

Yes, at the information point of the Verbum Museum, which is also used as a lost and found location. Any lost documentation will be handed over to the relevant authorities once the event is over.

DOES THE FESTIVAL HAVE ACCESS AND RESERVED AREAS FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

People with reduced mobility have exclusive access to enter various areas of the venue in order to guarantee maximum visibility and comfort during the competitions.

WHAT TIME DO THE COMPETITIONS START?

All information about schedules will be updated on the festival's website through the schedules/schedule tab.

CAN I HAVE LUNCH AND DINNER AT THE VENUE?

Throughout the day you will find drink bars and food stalls.

ARE THERE PARKING LOTS NEARBY?

In the city center, there are two public parking lots within the venue plus a third one in the Plaza del Berbés a few meters away. The first one is located under the Nautical Esplanade and the second one under Plaza de la Estrella. 

At Samil Beach, there are 4 public and free parking lots. It is recommended to arrive early to find the best and closest parking to the event activities.

IS THERE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AT THE FESTIVAL?

There are several civil protection posts adjacent to the tracks, as well as medical services at the venue in addition to medicalized ambulances.

ARE THERE PUBLIC TOILETS AT THE VENUE?

There are public toilets spread throughout the venue as well as the usual ones on Samil Beach.

IS THERE A MERCHANDISING AREA?

Yes, there is an official festival space dedicated to the sale of t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, etc. at Samil Beach.

IF I HAVE A PROBLEM, IS THERE A SECURITY POINT AT THE FESTIVAL?

In case of any serious problem, you can contact the organization staff or the security staff distributed throughout the venue, they will help you as much as they can.

WHERE CAN I GET INFORMATION, MAPS, AND EVENT SCHEDULES?

You can get all the information with schedules and maps of the event on our website.

HOW DO I SIGN UP TO COMPETE?

On the website, you will find the steps to follow for each discipline.

WHAT DO I NEED IF I'M UNDERAGE TO SIGN UP AND COMPETE?

Fill out the permission form, which can be found on the website or in the registration area of the sports venues, in addition, parents or guardians must sign this document and be present during the tests.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS INSIDE THE SPORTS VENUES?

No. Access to the tracks is totally prohibited. We recommend the use of telephoto lenses. You can take them from the stands and any area designated for the public.

HOW CAN I BE ACCREDITED AS PRESS?

On the website, in the press section, there will be a form to request accreditation that you must fill out. The press department will review the request and contact you.

HOW CAN I WORK AT THE EVENT?

Currently, the Festival is not looking for profiles for jobs in 2024. If necessary, a call will be opened on an external job portal and it will be communicated through this website the opening of the call and the link to said portal. In the meantime, due to data protection law, please do not send CVs to O Marisquiño's information email.
