As every year, O Marisquiño relies on Renfe to develop a sustainable mobility plan. This plan includes offers from Renfe to reduce the costs of trips to Vigo for visitors coming from other parts of the Peninsula, as well as make the trips more sustainable. 

Thanks to this collaboration agreement with Renfe, travelers will be able to enjoy a 10% discount on the dynamic fare at the time of purchase on Ave-Long Distance tickets to Vigo during the days of O Marisquiño. AVANZA

Coming from Madrid to Vigo by bus also has its advantages. The company Avanza and O Marisquiño have closed an agreement to promote this transport line through a special service for the event audience.

MAR DE ONS

Another preferred means of transportation for the event's audience is the boat from O Morrazo, the regular line Cangas-Vigo that arrives at the Port of Vigo in addition to the lines to Cíes, Ons, and San Simón.

On the occasion of the celebration of O Marisquiño 2024, Naviera Mar de Ons will reinforce its regular maritime service between Vigo and Cangas with the aim of facilitating the transfers for all those interested in attending the festival, which will take place in various locations in the city between August 8 and 11. Specifically, the shipping company will operate its regular service between Cangas and Vigo on Thursday, August 8, and Friday, August 9, with the first departure from Cangas at 07:00 and trips every half hour until 22:00. The trips from Vigo will start at 07:30, with boats departing every half hour until 22:30. In addition, Mar de Ons will have a special departure with return from Vigo to Cangas at 00:00.

On Saturday, August 10, interested parties will have the usual weekend service schedules, with boats departing every hour from Cangas from 07:00 to 22:00 and from Vigo from 07:30 to 22:30.

On Sunday, August 11, the trips will take place every hour starting from 08:00 from Cangas and until 22:00, and every hour from Vigo, with the first boat departing at 08:30 until 22:30.

The shipping company will reinforce the service during the weekend with a special return from Vigo to Cangas at 01:15 hours on both Saturday and Sunday.
