POV Course Preview of the MTB Downtown 2025

The MTB Downtown is, without a doubt, the star of Saturday at the action sports and urban culture festival in Vigo. It was usually held on Sunday, but it was changed to Saturday in 2023 and was a success. The changes made to the circuit year after year, also valued as a success by both the public and fans, take it a step further in 2025. It starts from the top of Castro, goes through the streets of Casco Vello, and ends at the Centro de Ocio A Laxe, in a new and spectacular finish. Longer, more spectacular, and with more people than ever. We got on the bike of Marco Veiga -who already knows what it’s like to win it- to see it.

In the morning there are four warm-up runs and in the afternoon, semifinals (5:30 PM) and the final (7:30 PM). Who will be the ones who stop the clock in the shortest time possible? In 2024 it was Edgar Carballo and Alba Arias. And this year there will not only be two champions, because at 7:00 PM there will also be the final of the first Mini DH, held at the end of the course.
