Flatland
WHAT
The BMX Flatland has been one of the disciplines that has received the most love from the public throughout the history of Marisquiño thanks to its spectacularity and the good vibes transmitted by its riders. Over the years, great names of the Flatland world have appeared, such as the current world champion Matthias Dandois and the winner of OM23 who left us amazed with his explosive style, Jean William Prevost aka Dub. It is worth mentioning the recurring participation of national Pro riders, such as Viki Gómez and Varo Hernández, who claimed victory last 2024.
This year comes with surprises, and definitely many international riders are returning to this Marisquiño along with new faces never seen before at the event, you can't miss it!
WHERE
This year we are repeating and the Flatland will take place alongside the reference disciplines, in the spectacular Samil beach of Vigo. A spot with a unique energy where a brutal atmosphere forms on the beach, definitely an experience you can't miss.
The Flatland will take place on a track of about 100m2 where the contenders will showcase their best rounds.
HOW
What could be better than enjoying the most technical and original discipline of BMX? On the beach, with Pro and Amateur categories to enjoy all levels and with -once again- international riders from all over. We will have amateur qualifiers on Friday and Pro on Saturday, the best 12 from the Pro category will compete on Sunday in a jam format with battles of 3.
When
From August 8 to 10, 2025. On the Friday with the Amateur qualifying, which will have its final on Saturday in the early afternoon. Then the Pro qualifying will follow, whose final will be in the early afternoon of Sunday.
The schedule may be subject to changes due to weather conditions or other force majeure factors.
