Flatland
WHAT
BMX Flatland has been throughout the history of O Marisquiño one of the disciplines most beloved by the public thanks to its spectacularity and the good vibes transmitted by its riders. In 2023, Flatland set an attendance record with riders from all corners of the planet. We had for the first time Canadian rider Jean William Prevost aka "Dub", who amazed us with his explosive style, or young French promise Julien Baran with his smooth style and wide variety of tricks. Also, some of the first women in the competition's history participated. Notably, Spanish riders Varo Hernández and Alberto Moya, international figures who have grown up with O’Marisquiño, were present.
WHERE
This year, we repeat and Flatland will take place alongside the main disciplines, on the spectacular beach of Samil in Vigo. The vibes are intense there, creating a fantastic atmosphere on the beach—a truly unforgettable experience.
HOW
What could be better than enjoying the most technical and original discipline of Bmx? On the beach, with Pro and Amateur categories to enjoy at all levels, and once again, with international riders from all over. From national riders like Varo Hernández and Alberto Moya to world champions like Matthias Dandois or the legend and silver medalist in the recent X Games, Alex Jumelin. They will all compete in a Jam showing their best tricks on the bike to the rhythm of music, aiming to win over €4,000 in prizes.
