Marisquiño wins Best Sports Event award at the Nebrija Event Awards
Marisquiño has been recognized with the award for Best Sports Event at the 5th edition of the Nebrija Event Awards, held this Tuesday in Madrid. This award places the Vigo festival alongside other major events recognized in previous editions, such as the Mutua Madrid Open or the Madrid Marathon.
The awards, organized by students of the Degree in Strategic Communication, Protocol, and Event Organization at Universidad Nebrija, honor projects that are setting the course for the events industry in Spain.
The organization highlighted Marisquiño’s track record as “an event that has spent 25 editions showing how sport, urban culture, and live experience can become a benchmark within Spain’s event landscape”.
This recognition comes as the festival prepares its 26th edition, which will be held from August 6 to 9, 2026 in Vigo, with Samil as the main hub and a program that will once again combine sport, music, and urban culture.
