There are only two weeks left until the start of #OM24 and activity in the Samil area is intensifying. Once again, Vigo beach will be the epicenter of the festival's action. On Friday, July 19, the infrastructure assembly work for the event began there, which will be ready for the start of the festival on Thursday, August 8, with the Family Day workshop day for children and young people.
The work to build Skate and BMX parks is already visible on the Samil promenade, along with the rest of the festival's infrastructure. In addition to these two disciplines, this year Samil will also host Flatland and Breaking competitions on the sporting side. And on the cultural side, the Vibra Mahou Stage with all the musical lineup, Graffiti and Rap Battles. These last two activities are moving to Samil for the first time.
Garnier takes to the streets at O Marisquiño
This year, and maintaining its commitment to the young and urban spirit, Garnier becomes the presenting partner of the skate discipline, and will be present in different areas of the festival, with special attention to the festival's mini halfpipe. To achieve this, the brand will collaborate with a local artist to intervene on the sides of this iconic infrastructure of O Marisquiño, giving visibility to the emerging talent of the city and merging art and sports in a unique way.
In addition, we will have the participation of the renowned skater Danny León, who comes directly from the Olympics to share his passion for this sport with all attendees. Alongside Garnier, Danny León will offer a unique experience to skate and urban culture lovers. Don't miss the opportunity to experience O Marisquiño to the fullest!
