The importance of starting to practice skateboarding very early is fundamental to becoming an elite athlete: Danny León and Leticia Bufoni started skating at the age of 9, Keet Oldenbeuving at 7 and Matías Dell Olio at 6 years old. For this reason, O Marisquiño brings you a series of workshops for beginners, perfect for the little ones to get to know this sport up close. Classes are aimed at all those girls and boys who want to start skateboarding, in a unique environment, Samil Beach.

No previous knowledge is needed, just a desire to learn and enjoy. It will start from a basic level for those who know nothing about this sport and the technique and style will be perfected depending on each student and their knowledge. The correct position to be on the skate will be learned, as well as the proper positioning of the body for its practice. The basic notions of how to push and turn with the skateboard will also be shown and, depending on the level of each participant, tricks will be worked on in different modules of the skatepark.

If skateboarding is the most important discipline of the festival, these workshops could not be missing in which the little ones will surely live an authentic OM experience. To attend the workshop it is necessary to have a skateboard and protection (elbow pads, knee pads and helmet), the use of comfortable clothing is also recommended.
